Hello there! I’m Mirtha Bucaro, and I founded B&B Floral Design in 2003 after I spent nineteen years in the wedding photography industry with my husband, Edward. I became a wedding florist because it allowed me to use my creative eye, passion for color and beauty, and deep experience in the wedding industry in one exciting avenue.

I know how important flowers are to a wedding and I love assembling beautiful floral arrangements that bring my clients' dreams to life. I’ve worked in most Bay Area wedding venues and know how to accentuate their strengths and work around any obstacles. I also take the time to understand all the unique details that bring special meaning to each wedding.

Many couples come to me overwhelmed about purchasing wedding flowers and aren't sure where to begin. I love making people feel at ease, and I reassure them that this can be a fun process from our very first conversation to the moment when they walk into their wedding venue and have their expectations blown.

When I'm not working with flowers, I love spending time with my husband, parents, two beautiful daughters, and son-in-law. My husband and I have a rambunctious chihuahua, Mellie, who melts our hearts.
